Many congratulations to Nicholas Samaras of Greece who achieved the most votes in a very hotly contested result. His design will be worn on every diver’s BCD that visits Raja Ampat in 2013, and he can chose his prize of an all inclusive minimum 8 day trip to Raja Ampat with one of the contest’s sponsors.

The contest was extremely close this year with less than 300 few votes between the first three ranked tags. In fact, all the shortlisted entries proved very popular with the public vote. Many congratulations to all the entrants, and especially of course to Nicholas.

Please note that any submissions must consist of the submitter’s original work, and any designs found to incorporate images or design elements found not to be the submitter’s own will be disqualified. You must own full personal copyright of the design and all it’s related images or elements. This contest is limited to amateur photographers and designers only.

Prize winning photos will share the copyright with the Cultural and Tourism Department of Raja Ampat, Raja Ampat Tourism Management Team, and partners for use in non-profit park management activities (e.g. village-education programs, village posters, calendars, management presentations, etc). Any such use of submitted photos will include accreditation of photographer/designer’s name. Note that the winners will be required to submit a signed waiver, which grants the Cultural and Tourism Department of Raja Ampat, Raja Ampat Tourism Management Team, and partners non-exclusive rights to the images/designs.

This year the lucky winner can choose an all inclusive minimum 8 day dive trip at one of the following resorts or liveaboards in Raja Ampat* (*subject to availability, excluding airfares)
