Panasonic announces S5 II Cameras
Panasonic has announced the DC-S5 II and S5 IIX full frame mirrorless cameras. Using the L mount, they both feature on-chip phase detection.

The January/February issue of Underwater Photography magazine (UwP) is now available to download. It includes reviews of the Nauticam WACP-C, Isotta housing and large diameter domes. Techniques discussed include freediving photography and photographing crocodiles, while Tobias Friedrich writes about judging UPY. The travel section has a welcome back and freediving Gorontalo.

Wetpixel Live: Top Tips for Competition Success
Many underwater image makers are actively involved in entering imaging contests. In this episode, Alex and Adam discuss some ideas that may help ensure success in these competitions, particularly in the light of the deadlines for UPY and the Wetpixel/DPG Masters are fast approaching.
Results: 2022 Underwater Tour Awards
The Underwater Tour has published the winning images for its 2022 Awards. There were 6 categories and a Grand Guru portfolio, and hearty congratulations t all those among the placings and to Jake Wilton who was awarded the Grand Guru prize.
Seacam Announces Housing for Nikon Z9
Seacam has announced their housing for the Nikon Z9 camera. It uses the standard Seacam port system and strobes can be triggered via S6 or Nikonos electrical connections. It has three ports to connect an HDMI in/out or to fit a vacuum system.
