Shout Out for Lionfish Footage
Submarine pilot Erika Bergman is building a lionfish tracking/detection computer vision program that will utilize machine learning to locate the animals. In order to train the model, she is seeking around 100 10-second video clips of lionfish from a variety of locations, times of day, viewing angle, etc. If you have clips in your video library, please get in contact with Erika via email.

Go Ask Erin Live Event Announced
The team at Go Ask Erin has announced their March Madness series of free live events about all things post-processing. They will host a show on Friday 12 March at 11:00 am and again at 6:00 pm PST, 12 March entitled “PHOTOSHOP FEAR ABATEMENT.” Registration is required, and it should be stressed that these talks are the gold standard for improving your post-processing!
Call for Entries: World Ocean Day Photo Contest
The United Nations World Ocean Day Photo contest is now accepting entries. Categories include Ocean Life and Livelihood, Above Water Seascapes, Underwater Seascapes, Digital Ocean Photo Art, Faces of the Sea, and Oceanic Discoveries. the winners will be announced on 8 June at the UN event celebrating World Ocean Day and the deadline for entries is 30 April.

Sea&Sea releases firmware update for YS-D3
Sea&Sea has announced a firmware update for its YS-D3 strobes. This addresses an issue of overexposure when the strobes are used with third-party TTL converters. If you have a strobe with a serial number of 180701320, you should contact your local dealer for information on how to perform the upgrade.
