Salty announces housing for RED Komodo
Salty housings are accepting pre-orders for their housing for the RED Komodo digital cinema cameras. Machined from aluminum, it has a depth limit of 20m (60ft), is designed to be used with the Atomos Shinobi, and has a port fitting sized at 105mm. This does prevent the use of wide cinema lenses. Salty offers the option of custom paint jobs!

Sony announces Alpha 7S Mark III mirrorless camera
Sony has announced the Alpha 7S III full frame mirrorless camera. It has a 12.1 MP sensor that can capture 4K 120p 10 bit 4:2:2 video with a native ISO range of 40 to 409,600. Internal recording is to 2 CFexpress cards. It also allows up to 4K 60p 16-bit RAW output to an external recorder via HDMI Type-A.
