10 Bar has released details of their housing for the Olympus OMD EM-5 mirrorless camera. It has an aluminum front section, with a clear acrylic back featuring a double o ring seal. Strobe triggering is available via fiber optic bulkheads and 10 Bar has port support for the 12-50mm, 60mm, 14/20mm and 8mm lenses.

10 Bar Announces the Launch of Olympus OMD EM-5 Housing

10 Bar is pleased to announce the launch of Olympus OMD EM-5 housing. The housings are machined from a solid block of aluminum. They are sturdy yet handy to operate underwater.

The clear acrylic back cover allows easy checking on the rear LCD monitor of the camera thus offering ease of use underwater. It employs the usual 10 Bar double o-ring system and stainless steel locking latches for enhanced security. It has levers and buttons accessing all controls on this versatile Micro Four Thirds camera.

The fiber optic port provides TTL flash exposure with Inon/Sea & Sea strobes.

Optional ports include 12-50mm zoom port, 60mm, 14/20mm and 8mm dome ports.

Red filter M67 is also available for 14/20 and 60mm port.

The housings are individually pressure tested to 90m, more than adequate for sport diving. The overall size is 185 x 172 x 165 mm (L x W x H) with a weight of 1.9kg with 12-50 lens port.

There are also a complete line of accessories like ports, filters, stays and arms for this housing which will satisfy even the most demanding underwater photographic needs.
