The BBC’s Blue Planet 2 premieres today at an invitation only event at the British Film Institute IMAX cinema in London, UK. Greenpeace, in their Unearthed blog has posted an interview with the program’s creator, Sir David Attenborough about “On climate change, optimism and Blue Planet II.”

Sir David will also be hosting a free screening of episode 1 of the new series on Wednesday October 11, at the Cinema de Lux, Cabot Circus, Bristol, UK to celebrate 60 years of the BBC’s Natural History Unit. There are limited spaces available on a first come-first served random draw basis.
