Press Release.

The underwater film festival “Bijeli lav” (White Lion) had its premiere last year, on the Red Island, Rovinj, Croatia, with excellent response in the media, as well as with the public. It was a review of underwater films, including the first Croatian underwater documentary, made in 1947. It was realized with lots of enthusiasm and help from underwater filmmakers who decided to participate. You can see some of the atmosphere at this address.

For this year, we have planned both competition and review of the films, with awards for the best works in several categories. The festival will be held from 16th to 18th September (with underwater themed internet workshops for school kids starting on 14th September).
