The Outdoor Photographer of the Year contest is calling for entries in its “Underexposed” category, which is specifically for underwater images. The deadline for entries is 14 December, with the results being announced on 15 February at ExCel, London.

Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2014 Now Open for Submissions – Featuring New Underwater Category.

Outdoor Photography magazine, in association with outdoor equipment experts Fjällräven, is delighted to announce the competition to find the Outdoor Photographer Of The Year 2014 is now open.

This year Outdoor Photography is pleased to introduce a brand new category called Under Exposed, which is exclusively for underwater images.

The overall winner will get a prize that money cannot buy and will be off to the Arctic on the Fjällräven Polar dog sled expedition in spring 2015! Category winners will receive a superb Fjällräven Kaipak 28 backpack and £200.

Amateur and professional photographers from around the world can choose to enter one or more of the 7 portfolio categories, for £8 for up to 8 pictures per category. The awarded images, along with other selected images will be exhibited at the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show at ExCel, London (12-15 February 2015) and the overall winner will be announced live at the show on the Outdoor Photography PhotoBox stage on Sunday 15th February 2015.

Closing date: Sunday 14 December 2014, Midnight.
