From 8pm on Thursday 3 November, a glittering gathering of over 300 underwater image makers partied the night away at the Wetpixel/DivePhotoGuide Pool party. Despite the venue not actually allowing access to the poolside itself, the event proved true to its reputation for hilarity and high jinks.

I will Second Stephen's opinion on this, bravo for a job well done guy's. I know how difficult it is to get all this info in, sort it out and post it up, this coverage is stellar! It was nice to see all the familiar friendly faces again, I really like the Image ressource center concept that got implemented a few years back, before we where all spread out across the floor show, now its our own little village. Heck we even had a free beer stand in the center of it every afternoon. how cool is that!

Nope - these housings are designed for shallow water work - for photographers that shoot only in the pool/underwater studio or for topside photographers who want a system for pole-cam work. Being made of delrin makes considerable savings in weight and price. Alex
Posted by Alex Mustard on 2011-11-05 08:54:39 Regarding YS-D1: same Guide Number (32) as YS-250. But this is with a narrow beam. So a less powerful output (W/S), giving the same GN because of the narrower beam. Alex
