Dive with Brian Skerry, or nubile nymphs?

Blue Sphere Pubs is running an interesting poll. Would you rather dive (scuba dive) with Brian Skerry, a National Geographic Photographer, or two nubile nymphs? Skerry tells me he’s never lost an election, but I suspect that this one will be close, depending on how many people he managed to bribe.

Posted by Viz'art on 2005-05-10 20:47:56 Sorry Giles, guess I'm not twenty something anymore did'nt mean to offend or stereotype anybody, but the value of a person goes beyond their good look, my wife is a third degree burn survivor and altought she can still turn head for her good look I know the whole story under the turtle neck sweater... beauty goes beyond good look, it just would be nice to appreciate that fact once in a while, so lets have fun but not at each other expenses, even nubile nymphs gotta get old one day! Now I know James is communicating with the custom peoples, trying to revoke my silly freeeench citizen card, Pitié, I am not one of the French radical who voted against the war, HUH! wait, the Canadian did that to, Oh mon dieu I am screwed:) and I agree with Giles on the Inon plastic cover, it's kind of checking out the newest roller bearing for the Massey Ferguson 1959 special edition tractor. cheers P.S. who's Buffy, my wife is voting for Puff Daddy ;)

I think it is very sexist of him to assume that just because they are two nubile nymphs who are famous for their good looks. this by no means suggests they do not take photos underwater. I am disgusted by the instant stereotyping and hope that wetpixel can at the least be open minded in these areas. ha .. i mean comon .. UWP can be fun and funny as well as serious .. relax .. i think it was a nice post to wake up to thank you eric .. it beats seeing that inon reinvented plastic to cover your strobe.

Posted by James Wiseman on 2005-05-10 16:40:32 I fail to see the interest of this post on this website, at a time when most of us are working hard to change the macho image associated with diving, we have this thing showing up, frankly, I would go diving with either one of them provided they are good company and interesting people. We should concentrate on getting folks to apreciate the sport and in our case u/w photography, not who one would like to see in a dry or no suit... Regards P.S. I realize this is a link to another site, but nonetheless, it has little photographic value as far as I am concerned, and my vote? well I value knowledge, suffice to say.
