DeeperBlue.com and underwater photographer Tim Calver have joined forces to present a photo series showcasing portraits of free divers above water. The series is titled Faces Of Freediving. The studio type portraits were shot at Deans Blue Hole in the Bahamas during the free diving competition, Vertical Blue.

This is what Tim had to say about the project:

“I have long worked as an underwater photographer and it was strange to travel all the way to Dean’s Blue Hole without and underwater camera. But faces and portraits are a new focus of mine. I was thrilled to launch the public debut of this part of my career within the friendly family and beautiful faces of the freediving community.”
