Great White Shark Mary Lee returns to Jersey Shore
A well known individual Great White shark, Mary Lee, has returned to the Jersey Shore to presumably feed. Researchers have tracker her movements for four years now since they originally tagged her off Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The nearly 3,500 pound female shark has swam nearly 34,000 miles since originally being tagged.
The organization Ocearch has monitored Mary Lee’s movements since 2012 by a global positioning system.
