Golfer Lexi Thompson posed for some underwater photographs and simultaneously channeled Muhammad Ali. Photographer Al Bello recreated Flip Shulke’s 1961 underwater image of Ali with the female golfer in December. Ali passed away last year and on tuesday, he would have turned 75.

Thompson had this to say about the images: “I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to pay tribute to the legend with these photos and put my own golf twist to it too. As an athlete, I always admired Ali’s pure grit and determination in the ring. As an individual, he always kept everyone on their toes.”
