M.I.T. scientists design a robotic fish to track ocean health
Scientists at M.I.T. have developed a robotic fish, which they revealed yesterday, to someday be used to monitor fish and ocean health. The maiden voyage occurred in Fiji and proved that the robot was capable of autonomously swimming up to a depth of 60 feet. The robot is named “SoFi”, like Sofie, but actually short for Soft Robotic Fish.
