The revival of special lens manufacturer Meyer Optik Görlitz, has come to an end. A recent series of Kickstarter campaigns had resurrected the classic Trioplan lenses, which have been bubble bokeh effect lenses for underwater photographers. Petapixel reports on the company’s bankruptcy which was due to a series of overlapping Kickstarter campaign that: “were viewed as a way to raise operating funds, not for the upcoming lens, but for the ones already in the production pipeline.”
