National aquarium moves from DC to Baltimore
The government is not the only thing in D.C. to shutdown this week. The National Aquarium is closing it’s doors and becoming a basement walkway between the Department of Commerce and the Ronald Reagan building and International Trade Center, displacing approximately 2,500 aquatic residents.
On monday 38 animals were moved to the larger National Aquarium in Baltimore where they will be permanently housed. The most notable of the refugees to migrate to Baltimore was one cranky Giant Pacific octopus.
