Deepshots reports that Ocean Leisure has announced that it will be opening an imaging specific showroom at it’s Northumberland street store on the Embankment. The same premises has, for the past six years, been run by Cameras Underwater and the sales team will remain largely unchanged.

Ocean Leisure Cameras will start trading on 18 July.

5 July 2011. Today Ocean Leisure, the UK’s premier marine and water sports superstore is pleased to announce the launch of its new photographic venture utilising the team of highly technical specialist staff previously employed by Devon based Cameras Underwater Ltd.

The London showroom, previously run by Cameras Underwater Ltd, has been trading at Ocean Leisure’s superstore for the past six years selling a range of specialist underwater cameras and accessories for the diving enthusiast. This new Ocean Leisure asset will be branded as “Ocean Leisure Cameras” offering the broadest portfolio of underwater photo gear ranging from camera and video housings to a plethora of cool accessories including filters, flashes and lenses expertly designed to capture underwater magical moments. The new Ocean Leisure Cameras outfit will now be in a better position to offer its customers a fuller and more comprehensive range of new and exciting products supported by the expertise of the existing London based team that have over fifty years of combined photographic knowledge. In addition to servicing the requirements of its diving customers Ocean Leisure Cameras will now be able to offer a diverse range of imaging products to suit all other watersports including yachting and surfing.
