Raja site invites photo submissions
The ultimate web resource for all things underwater in Raja Ampat and surrounding area (or more correctly the Bird’s Head Seascape), has launched a new gallery feature. The Birds Head Seascape website is soliciting submissions of images captured within the area for inclusion.
The website contains a wealth of information and details about the area and its history, flora and fauna. If you are planning to visit Raja Ampat, Cenderawasih Bay or Triton Bay, this site is a must visit.
From The Bird’s Head Seascape admin team:
The Bird’s Head Seascape website, supports the multi-partner conservation team, which manages this region’s globally significant marine biodiversity. Burt Jones and Maurine Shimlock, who partnered with Conservation International to produce diving guides to Raja Ampat and the greater Seascape, administer the site, which was constructed by Newmediasoup’s Joel and Jennifer Penner.
“This is a photography-driven site, so besides posting the latest conservation, scientific and regional news, the BHS site also publicizes the Bird’s Head’s best images,” Burt said. “We’ve installed a new Gallery feature and invite everyone to contribute. So far we have a mixed group of serious amateurs and professionals like Doug Seifert and Alex Mustard. If you’ve shot in the Bird’s Head, we want to see your images!”
