Wetpixel and DivePhotoGuide announce the winners of the DEEP Indonesia contest 2013.

Wetpixel and DivePhotoGuide are proud to announce the winners of the 2013 DEEP Indonesia International Underwater Photography Competition. The competition is part of a unique series of underwater imaging events that has become one of the biggest and most prestigious in the world.

This year the competition received thousands of entries from underwater photographers in over 15 countries. Congratulations to Hamid Rad, who won Best of Show for his first placed image in the Reefscapes category.

All the wining images will be in exhibited in Jakarta at DEEP Indonesia from 4 to 7 April and will be published in supporting media partners worldwide. As with all UnderwaterCompetition.com events, 15% of entry proceeds will be donated to marine conservation efforts. Many thanks to our fantastic sponsors for their support; they are responsible for providing the wonderful prizes that keep the standard of these competitions so high.

The judges and staff at DivePhotoGuide and Wetpixel would like to congratulate all the participants as the entries were outstanding. The winners should be proud for producing some of the best underwater images of the year!
