Wide Angle Category and Overall winner by Renee Capozzola entitled “Shark Skylight”
The results of the 2021 Underwater Photographer of the Year (UPY) contest have been announced. Wetpixel extends hearty congratulations to all those among the competition’s placings. Renee Capozzola’s stunning image of sharks, birds, and the sunset from French Polynesia was awarded as the overall winner. Mark Strickland’s innovative image of a frog in a wetland close to Glasgow was declared the British winner.
In common with previous years, UPY offers a downloadable pdf yearbook which is a visual feast of all the images that were placed in this year’s contest.
