During DEMA 2014, Gates Underwater Products sponsored Ron Lagerlof to present a session on 4K imaging at the Imagining Resource Centre. Entitled “Not all 4K is 4K”, he explains what 4K is, overviews some of the devices that are capable of capturing it, outlines some workflow ideas and lists the potential advantages of using it.
On the final day of the 2014 DEMA Show in Las Vegas, Emmy Award winning filmmaker Cristian Dimitrius shared some of his accumulated wisdom on how to succeed in the wildlife filmmaking industry. Wetpixel was able to film the lecture, and we present it now for your viewing pleasure…
The annual DEMA show is the world’s biggest scuba and underwater equipment show and is also the venue for the vast majority of new product releases. Wetpixel attends the show with the express purpose of trying to bring the “contents” of the show to those that cannot attend. We will be posting daily updates over the next four days, so please keep checking back.
Wetpixel’s staff are currently winging their way towards Las Vegas for the 2014 DEMA show. For those who haven’t followed our coverage of the show before, our aim is to try to give people who can’t be there, a flavor of what it is like to attend. The schedule for the 2014 Image Resource Center at the DEMA Show has been posted onto the DEMA website. The IRC serves as a centerpiece to the imaging section of the show. Speakers include Cristian Dimitrius, Erin Quigley, John Ellerbrock, Berkley White, Stephen Frink and Chris Parsons. As always Wetpixel will be reporting from the show for those that can’t make it!
