When Jack Preston took his drone out for only the second time, he did not expect to find Orcas hunting in the crystal clear shallows around the Mercury Islands in New Zealand. The Orcas of this area hunt stingrays in the shallows collectively, one whale pulling a stingray out from a hiding spot and another fully biting it.

In Earth Touch’s Wild Oceans channel, Mark Thorpe has captured some lovely footage of feather duster worms (Sabellidae sp.) emerging from their tubes in order to feed. The worms have a plume of feeding appendages known as radioles that capture plankton in the water around the animal.

Earth Touch News has shared an incredibly rare video of an aggregation of female argonauts, also known as paper nautilus, close to the surface on their Wild Ocean channel. These creatures appear to be very similar to chambered nautilus, but in fact more closely resemble bottom dwelling octopus.
