Sea & Sea has announced the imminent release of their housing for the Canon EOS 6D SLR. The MDX-6D is made from black anodized aluminum alloy and gives access to almost all of the camera’s essential underwater functions (except Depth-of-Field Preview button). Sea & Sea’s YS Converter/C can now be built into the MDX-6D housing by dealers.
Canon has released firmware version v.1.1.3 for the EOS 6D SLR camera. The update fixes “a phenomenon in which the Date/Time/Zone settings screen appears on the LCD display, after the user has already configured these settings.” The updates is regarded as mandatory for EOS 6D owners, even if they have not yet experienced the problem yet.
