The Sony a7S III has been designed as a camera that maximizes low light opportunities. Wetpixel Editor Adam Hanlon chats to Natalie Gibb of Under the Jungle, who is using the camera and a Nauticam WACP-1 lens to capture amazing still and video imagery in the beautiful Mexican cenotes. Sony started shipping the long-awaited a7S Mark III mirrorless camera earlier this year. It has been much hyped for its low light performance, so Wetpixel arranged to get a camera to Natalie Gibb of Under the Jungle along with a Nauticam WACP-1 to shoot in Mexico’s beautiful caves and cenotes. Ikelite is shipping their 200DL housing for the Sony a7S III camera. Compatible with the company’s DL port system, the ABS-PC housing offers electrical strobe triggering as standard, or TTL via na optional converter. It ships with a vacuum port and an M16 accessory port for attaching an external monitor.
