Underwater time lapse photography can tell scientists a lot about what happens on a coral reef. Over the past five years Dr. Pim Bongaerts of the University of Queensland’s Global Change Institute has used time lapse photography to document coral reefs.
Vincent Laforet has had a tutorial series entitled “The Basics of Time Lapse Photography” published on the Canon Digital Learning Center. Spread over 4 episodes, the tutorials focus on helping Canon users to select and use their cameras to produce time lapse films, although he also offers considerable advice on frame calculation, interval settings, lensing, movement, production and sharing.
