During late July and August 2017, Wetpixel are running two trips to witness and document the amazing whale shark aggregation that occurs annually off Isla Mujeres, Mexico. One space available for Wetpixel Whale Sharks 2017

We now have only one space available on our trip to snorkel and photograph the amazing whale shark aggregation in Isla Mujeres. The space is available on the trip that is running from 04 to 10 August. As is always the case, the trip will focus on being photographically and videographically productive in documenting this amazing spectacle. In 2015, we experienced around 400 whale sharks in a tight group around our boat!

Late Availability: Wetpixel Whale Sharks July/August 2017

We have a few last minute spots available to snorkel and photograph the amazing whale shark aggregation off Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Unlike many other trips to the area, this is not a “tourist” experience, in that we leave early and stay out late in order to maximize the photographic opportunities with these wonderful animals. We also use boats run by professional game fishermen; people who are out at sea looking for fish year round.

Join us! Wetpixel Whale Sharks 2017

Wetpixel returns to Isla Mujeres in August 2017 to observe and document the amazing whale shark (Rhincodon typus) aggregation. One of nature’s most amazing and unique events, hundreds of whale sharks gather each year to feed on eggs spawned by bonito (Euthynnus alletteratus) off the island. Join us to witness this amazing spectacle.
