Manx Basking Shark Watch has been tagging and tracking basking sharks since 2007. The tags are designed to see how the sharks utilize the Manx waters as well as that of the Irish and Celtic Seas. Specifically, they are designed to determine the depths the sharks swim to as well as the location of the sharks during the winter months.

In all, the researchers have tagged 21 sharks and currently are tracking 4 sharks. The journeys of those four sharks, named Neve, Mister Tailor, Fricassonce, and Finly, are viewable here.
