During October, Lembeh Resort in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, played host to Wetpixel’s first macro workshop. A total of 30 underwater photographers, from around the globe, spent 10 days being tutored by Alex Mustard, Adam Hanlon and Sascha Jansen about the art and technique of macro photography. The theory was complemented by a great deal of practice, with the boats eparting 4 times per day for people to put their new skills into practice, and plentiful numbers of amazing critters being found by the eagle eyed guides from Critters@Lembeh.

If that all sounds like too much hard work, we had a lot of fun too!

This Full Frame feature celebrates the amazing imagery that the group captured. I think it is fair to say that everyone came home with a portfolio of images that they were proud of. We plan to revisit both the workshop and Lembeh in 2015 so please keep an eye on the Wetpixel front page for announcements.
