Versova Beach was lead in clean-up efforts by lawyer Afroz Shah over two-years ago and has seen what the United Nations describes as the “world’s largest beach cleanup project.” Olive Ridley sea turtles are the most common sea turtle in the ocean, but are still listed as a vulnerable species.
