Reef ID Book Publishes Flatworm Photo Guide
Reef ID books have announced the release of its latest marine life guidebook. Marine Flatworms of the Tropical Indo-Pacific by Andrey Ryanskiy is a photo guide that catalogs over 580 species from the Red Sea, East, and South Africa to Hawaii, Marshall Islands, and Guam. The publishers are offering a special 20% discount on the eBook version to the Wetpixel community.

Saga Ships 4’ Dome Port for Ikelite
Saga has announced a new BK-7 optical glass 4” (100mm) dome port for use with Ikelite DL port system housings. The dome has an external coating that maximizes light transmission, and an internal anti-reflective one. The port is optimized for use with fisheyes lenses, specifically, the Tokina 10-17mm and both Nikon and Canon 8-15mm lenses. The shade and back pane is constructed of anodized aluminum, and the shade is removable to allow for full circle images.

Nimar Announces Housing for Hassleblad X1D II 50C
Nimar has announced their housing for the Hasselblad X1D II 50C medium format camera. It accepts Nimar’s NIM-108 port system and is equipped with a vacuum leak detector and optical strobe trigger. It can also be optionally fitted with a 5 pin Nikonos bulkhead and a second side grip handle.
Call for Entries: SDUFEX 2021
The 2021 San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition (SDUFEX) is now calling for entries. Due to the pandemic, the festival will be held in a virtual format. Submitted films must be either 5 or 10 minutes long, and at least 50% of the footage must be captured underwater.
