GoPro ships HERO9 Action Camera
GoPro is shipping the latest version of its action camera. The HERO9 offers 5K video, 20MP Raw images, and HyperSmooth 3.0 stabilization. Other features include a front-facing display, a large rear display, and a 30% increase in battery life over the HERO8. It is waterproof to 10m (30ft) with a new housing available that allows use top 60m (180ft)
Nikon announces Z 14-24mm f/2.8 lens
Nikon has announced 2 new Z mount lenses. Of interest for underwater use is the Z 14-24mm f/2.8 wide-angle lens. It has a minimum focus distance of 0.28 m (0.92 ft), so may work behind a large dome port.
Version 2 of Videux is available
Version 2 of the Videux video organizer has been released. It now has a directory organizer/reorganizer, show in a directory hierarchy, enhanced camera importer, new keyword search logic, and support for the newest Mac operating system.
Sony announces A7C Full Frame Mirrorless camera
Sony has announced the a7C mirrorless full-frame camera. Designed to be compact and lightweight, it has a 24.2 MP sensor with the BIONZ X image processing engine. It will shoot full 4K video and has in-body 5-axis image stabilization.

Easydive has announced a new series of LED video lights. The Revolution lights are available in 7000, 15000, and 21000-lumen output models, they all feature the ability to control color temperature (2700-6500°K) via a smartphone app. They are safe for flying and have a magnetic external charging port.
