Panasonic announces S5 full frame mirrorless camera
Panasonic has announced the S5 Hybrid Full Frame mirrorless camera. It has a 24.2 MP sensor with a native ISO up to 51,200 with Dual Native ISO. It will record 4K 60p/50p4:2:0 10-bit to internal SD cards or 4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 10-bit via HDMI output with 14+ stops of dynamic range. It has 5 axis in-body image stabilization and utilizes the L mount lens system.

In most years, Wetpixel organizes trips to visit and document the amazing whale shark (Rhincodon typus) aggregation that occurs annually off Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The benefits of the eco-tourism that are created by the visitors to the area ensure that these amazing animals are seen as a beneficial resource that needs to be nurtured and protected. Due to COVID-19, this income will have been compromised, so please consider planning a trip to hang out with some whale sharks in the future.
