Nauticam releases housing for Fujifilm GFX100
Nauticam is shipping their housing for the Fujifilm GFX100 mirrorless camera. The camera has a 55mm sensor offering 102MP. The housing is compatible with Nauticams’ N120 port system, but perhaps most pertinently, can be used with the WACP-2, offering excellent corner sharpness and a very wide image.
Nauticam ships housing for Nikon Z50
Nauticam is shipping its NA-Z50 housing for the Nikon Z50 APS-C mirrorless camera. It is equipped with Nauticam’s N100 port fitting, which can be converted via an adaptor for use with the FTZ adaptor and F mount lenses. Strobe triggering is via twin optical ports, and a TTL opto-electrical converter can be fitted to reduce recycle times.
Spectacular Kimbe Bay by Don Silcock
Don Silcock shares both his amazing imagery and extensive experience of diving in PNG’s Kimbe Bay. It offers a 140km (87 miles) underwater amphitheater with relatively shallow fringing reefs, mixed in with seamounts and pinnacles, providing a multitude of amazing dive sites.

Dome ports are a crucial part of the optical systems that we as underwater photographers deploy. Judging by questions and comments on the Wetpixel Forum, they are also somewhat misunderstood. This is in part because the underlying optical theory of dome ports is somewhat complex, and is hence avoided. Wetpixel Editor Adam Hanlon attempts to demystify this, by offering some thoughts on dome port choices on Wetpixel Live.
