Call for entries: Our World Underwater 2014

The 2014 Our World Underwater contest is now live and calling for entries. Hosted by Wetpixel and DivePhotoGuide, Our World Underwater together with its sister contest, DEEP Indonesia, are the “super bowl or “cup final” of underwater imaging worldwide. There are over $85,000 worth of prizes, including $1,000 in cash for the winner of Our World Underwater.

Full details and rules for the contest are on the UnderwaterCompetion.com website. The deadline is quite tight, all entries must be received by 2 February, so please don’t delay. We will be calling for entries for DEEP Indonesia soon.

Matt when you refer to lower resolution do you refer to less than 2000 pixels or do you refer to a higher compression rate?

Hi Ellen - Matt from DPG here. You'll have to use a slightly lower res image in order for it to be accepted as all files need to be less than 5mb.

Hi Adam, some entries saved in 2000 x 2000 are +5MB and I can't upload them. (Nikon D800) (When +5 MB I got this message: There has been an error submitting your entry:
You must select a file to upload.
And when less than 2000 x 2000 I can't upload. What can I do? Thanks for helping out.
