Great report, Rob. Two points I would add are: first the CMAS World Championship, started in the 1970s, differs from most contests because it is a competition of photographers not of photos. Photographers are given exactly the same opportunities and very limited time to shoot their portfolio and the best wins. Having the event in Zeeland made it a great test of the photographer.
Second, this was such a fun and well run event. There were many side events to involve the wider diving community and the public, which made it so much more than a successful championship. Congratulations again to all the winners.
