The results of the Por el Planeta conservation photography contest were announced at a gala event in Mexico City on 11 November.

The winner of the Underwater Category was Francis Pérez and Luis Javier Sandoval was awarded the people’s choice award. The contest attracted over 28,000 entries from 88 countries. The contest raised $39,594.13 USD, which was donated to conservation causes.
