Guylian announces 7th Seahorse underwater photography competition
Guylian Belgian Chocolates has announced the 7th Guylian Seahorses of the World Photo Competition. The competition occurs biannually and assembles the best seahorse photos and videos from underwater photographers around the world. The aim of both NELOS, Guylian, and Project Seahorse, is to raise awareness about seahorses, their habitats, and the threats they face. Entries are due by October 28th 2018.

nju system releases details of Nikonos RS repair options
nju system has released details of additional services that they are offering for Nikonos RS lenses. These include a new replacement front lens glass for the 13mm and an improved RS bayonet mount. nju has also announced that they will repair and service RS lenses converted by any manufacturer.
Fantasea releases bayonet lens mount system
Fantasea and AOI have announced a bayonet lens mounting system for their lenses. This features an M67 female adapter that mounts on the camera and two male adapters that fit on the companiy’s macro and wide angle lens adaptors. There is also a lens caddy that can be attached to a strobe arm. The bayonet mounts and dismounts with a quarter turn.
Sealux announces housing for Sony FS7 Mark II
Sealux has announced their housing for the Sony FS7 4K Mark II camcorder. It offers the option of using Sony’s camera top display or an external monitor/recorder.The housing also has sufficient internal volume to allow the use of Metabones adaptors and large battery packs.
Final Results: The Shootout 2018
The public voting for the third and final round of The Shootout has now finished and the final results are now tabulated. It was a nail-biting finish but Team Gulen won the wide angle category. Overall, Team Lembeh were victorious while Gulen’s Galice Hoarau was the individual winner.

The round’s category was Wide Angle, and the teams at Lembeh Resort and Gulen Dive Resort have produced another stellar collection of images. The two teams are neck and neck, with the final result hinging on the results of this round! Please head on over to the event’s website and vote for your favorite. Results for the Fish and Invertebrates round of The Shootout
The Shootout 2018 kicked off on June 15th at both Lembeh Dive Resort in Indonesia and Gulen Dive Resort in Norway. The subject for the second of three rounds of photography was Fish and Invertebrates. Participants in both countries submitted their best images taken of Fish and Invertebrates during three dives and were then ranked by enthusiastic voters the world over.
