Call to Action: Maldives Shark Populations Under Potential Threat

Sigma Announces fp L mirrorless camera
Sigma has announced the fp L mirrorless camera. It has a full frame 61MP Bayer sensor with on-chip phase-detect AF (along with contrast), with a potential upper native ISO of 100,400, and uses L mount lenses. It will record 8 Bit CinemaDNG UHD 4K at 24p internally or 12 Bit CinemaDNG 30p or RAW to an external drive/recorder.

The Underwater Tour Awards is making its final call for entries. It offers 5 categories: Underwater Characters, Underwater Scenes, Topside Scenes, Aquatic Abstract, and Underwater Black and White. In addition, the Max Benjamin award is for creatives in any medium, and there is a public choice contest. The deadline for entries is 31 March 2021 at 23:59hrs AEST.

Nauticam Announces Housing for Fujifilm X-T4
Nauticam is shipping their housing for the Fujifilm X-T4 mirrorless camera. Featuring the N100 port system, it has an M24 port for HDMI 2.0 out. Fiber optic strobe triggering is available via either the Fujifilm EF-X8 flash or Nauticam’s Mini Flash Trigger for Panasonic/Fujifilm.
Sea&Sea Ships Housing for Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II
Sea&Sea is shipping their MDX housing for the Nikon Z7 II and Z6 II. It offers compatibility with both Z and F mount lenses (via the FTZ adapter) and uses the MDX series lens ports. It can be fitted with the YS TTL optical converter and the camera’s top control panel can be viewed via a dedicated window in the housing.
