Inon ships D mount adapter
Inon has released an adaptor plate that allows their D holder arm and base system with their new underwater tripod system. It is equipped with two 1/4in tripod holes that allows it to be securely attached.
Dates for 2018 Monterey Shootout announced
The 2018 Monterey Shootout will be held from 9 to 12 August. Hosted by the Northern California Underwater Photography Society and Backscatter, the event features the competition with seminars and classes running alongside. The infamous shootout cocktail party will be held on the evening of 12 August.

SD Association announces 128TB SD cards
The SD Association has announced a new specification which adds PCIe and NVMeTM interfaces to Sd cards. This allows faster access to data on the card and the maximum storage capacity grows to a possible 128TB with the new D Ultra Capacity (SDUC) card.

Guylian announces 7th Seahorse underwater photography competition
Guylian Belgian Chocolates has announced the 7th Guylian Seahorses of the World Photo Competition. The competition occurs biannually and assembles the best seahorse photos and videos from underwater photographers around the world. The aim of both NELOS, Guylian, and Project Seahorse, is to raise awareness about seahorses, their habitats, and the threats they face. Entries are due by October 28th 2018.
