Rosenberg Books has released their eBook “Dive and Travel Cozumel” as a free download. The book offers an orientation to Cozumel’s unique history, geography, travel options, and logistics, followed by chapters focusing on the area’s diving. It is richly illustrated with images and embedded videos.
Nauticam ships housing for Z Cam E2/EC2
Nauticam has released details about their NA-E2 housing for the Z Cam E2/E2C 4K cinema camera. It uses the N85 port system, allows the use of Sony NP-F (up to and including the FP-970), and has space for a Samsung T5 SSD internally. In addition, it has an M28 bulkhead, allowing for HDMO 2.0 output if required.

The deadline for the 2020 Mares Underwater Photo Marathon has been extended until 20 April. It is offering 7 categories including Wide Angle, Macro, Wreck, Fish, Fashion and Creativity, Portfolio and Video. COVID-19: Marine related resources for kids during lockdown
The underwater imaging and art community are releasing resources to help young people that are impacted by the closure of their schools. Educator Annie Crawley has made her eBook, Hide & Seek on the Reef available for free on the Apple book store, while art collective Pangeaseed has released three free volumes of coloring in companions with pages designed by the Sea Walls artists.
Sea&Sea ships YS-D3 Lightning strobe
Sea&Sea is now shipping its YS-D3 Lightning strobe. Featuring an in-air Guide Number of 33 with a native beam angle of 105° x 80°. This can be widened with the use of diffusers. Triggering is Nikonos 5 pin or fiber-optic connection, with DS-TTL II, Slave TTL, or manual exposure control options.
Nikon Creators Hour: A deep dive with Brian Skerry
Nikon will be featuring underwater image-maker Brian Skerry today at 3:00pm EDT (-4 hours GMT) on their Creators Hour. He will be discussing his career as an underwater photographer and will share the stories behind his seven favorite images.
Version 2 of Meyer Optic 100mm Trioplan lens ships
The Meyer-Optik Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II lens with revised Triplet optical design is now shipping. Featuring its ancestor’s infamous soap bubble bokeh, it has a minimum object distance of 0.9m, which may be a challenge for lighting. It is available in manual focus for Canon EF, Fuji X, Leica L, Leica M, M42, MFT, Nikon F, Pentax K, and Sony E mounts. It will work on both full-frame and APS-C cameras.
