Ikelite Ships Housing for Sony a7 IV
Ikelite is shipping their housing for the Sony a7 IV mirrorless camera. Compatible with the 200DL port system. Compatible strobes can be electrically triggered with the supplied manual hotshoe or the optional TTL version. It also has an M16 bulkhead and a port for a vacuum leak detection system.
Call for Entries: European Underwater Photography and Video Championship
CMAS, in conjunction with local diving and tourism associations, has announced that the European Underwater Photography and Video Championship will be held from 3 to 8 October in Madeira, Portugal. The event is soliciting entries formational teams. Full rules are available (pdf download). Wetpixel plans to attend and keep the community informed about all the twists and turns of the contest.

Wetpixel Live: Computer for Underwater Photographer
Alex and Adam discuss their computer hardware and which software they use for processing and curating their image libraries. At one time, processing digital images was a resource-intensive process, which necessitated top-end and sometimes bespoke computer power. The general improvement in computer performance and power means that this is largely no longer the case.
Seacam Ships Ninja V Housing
Seacam are shipping their housing for the Atomos Ninja V and V+ recorder/monitors. Rated to 80 meters (260 ft.), it has HDMI in and can accommodate batteries up to NP-F970 size. It can be optionally equipped with an angled plug, second HDMI, or vacuum system.
