Keldan has announced the release of their 8XR video light. If offers 20,000-lumen output with a CRI of 86. In addition, the 8XR’s outputs and functions can also be controlled remotely via the Keldan RC-1 sonic remote control.
Call for Entries: SDUFEX 2022
The San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition (SDUFEX) is accepting entries for its 2022 film festival. The event will be held in person on 1 October at the Qualcomm Hall in San Diego. Submission must have been received by the organizers no later than June 15.

Nauticam Ships Housing for Panasonic GH6
Nauticam is shipping their housing for the Panasonic GH6 camera. The NA-GH6 uses the N85 port system and is optimized for HDMI 2.0 out with an M24 bulkhead and an M10 mounting point. Strobe triggering is via fiber optic.
RIP David Cheung
It is very sad to report that David Cheung, doyen of the underwater imaging scene in Singapore, has died after an illness. David, with his shop Scubacam, was a fixture for both residents and those passing through the country and was well known as an inventor, innovator, and inveterate tinkerer with underwater camera gear and systems. Our thoughts go out to his family and many friends around the globe. Please feel free to add your thoughts and memories of David to this thread. Rest in peace David, we miss you.

The United Nations has opened entries for the ninth World Oceans Day Photo Competition. The deadline for entries is 15 April and the results will be released on World Oceans Day on 8 June.
Aquatica Ships Housing for Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II
Aquatica is shipping their housing for the Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II mirrorless cameras. It ships with either Nikonos, Ikelite, or optical strobe triggering and Aquatica’s Surveyor vacuum system as standard. It is compatible with Aquatica’s SLR ports and can be used with the Nikon ZF adapter or native Z mount lenses.
